FGS offers a wide range of experienced mudloggers throughout the United States. From geothermal to oil and gas wells, we have the expertise to offer 1 or 2-man programs to fit your needs, and are willing to adapt to operator requirements from job to job which include various, detailed sample collection, analysis and description, along with creative, informative logs. Our wellsite geologists are flexible and can work with any number of gas detection systems that include chromatography, CO2 detection, H2S monitoring, as well as onsite mass spectrometry geochemical profiling and XRD/XRF analysis.

A Remote Geo-Logger (RGL) provides an experienced field geologist to remotely watch multiple rigs at a significantly reduced cost. Not only do our geologists monitor drilling & gas data, they will make frequent rig visits to verify gas detector parameters and conditions. The RGL can also be onsite to determine formation tops and casing points. FGS has extensive experience with setting up and operating RGL programs.

FGS facilitates successful geosteering programs with real time decision making, constant and consistent communication with directional consultants whereby our consultants steer from a footage to footage basis, rather than a TVD to TVD basis. FGS supplies a Project Coordinator with proven experience for each geosteering operator to maximize the pay potential, increase overall  efficiency, and save costs. Field Geo Services is here to provide the best professional experience in horizontal drilling projects. Depending upon operator requirements, FGS can geonavigate utilizing various software suites such as Excel, SES, as well as operator specific programs.etc

FGS has the capability and expertise to analyze C1-C10 petroleum species, inorganic compounds such as CO2, He, N2, O2 and sulfur bearing volatiles. We can help to discriminate among paraffins, naphthenes and aromatics (BTEX compounds) as well as contributions from the drilling fluid. It also can be remotely monitored and maintained and can be integrated into our Remote Geo-Logging (RGL) programs. Data transfer is accomplished via satellite uplink, thereby making it virtually run unmanned. Our field technicians (or onsite mudlogger/wellsite geo) handle any technical issues that may arise.
